Iranian ‘Setin’ to go to Make Art Not War festival

Iranian short title ‘Setin’ has been selected to compete at the Make Art Not War festival (MANW) in the US.

Directed by Asghar Abbasi, the short film will have its latest international screening at the 5th edition of the US event.

‘Setin’ is about an old love and a deep divide within a family, where love overcomes the gap and prevents a separation; however, drugs can topple every home!

Graduated from the Iranian Youth Cinema Society, Abbasi has directed more than 20 short and documentary films, aiming to make films with a global language for people around the world.

The MANW showcases the trailers and short films from all over the world.

The festival helps strengthen the production, promotion and distribution of films.

The upcoming edition of the MANW is slated for September 17-20, 2020 in the US state of California.
